Resting Places

Quiz

A way to spend a few minutes with what this site has documented, not a trivia show. Every question and every answer choice below, right or wrong, is a real value pulled from the same Wikidata-sourced records that back the cemetery and interment pages. There is no invented distractor and no invented fact anywhere in these918 questions. Pick a mode to begin; each round is 10 questions drawn at random from that mode's full question set, so replaying turns up different ones.

How these questions are made

Each question is generated at build time by a script that reads the same licensed, CC0 Wikidata records that power the rest of the site (cemetery index andinterment graph). Correct answers are the real field value on a real record; wrong answers are real field values borrowed from other real records, never text written for the occasion. A small number of fields (like the two established years older than 1 CE, and the sparsely-populated area figure) are excluded rather than forced into a question type they don't fit. After you answer, each question links to the actual cemetery or person page behind it, so you can keep reading.
